"This was a great resource to use as a reward game for Kindergarten Bilingual music class. The pictures were very clear and was a great way to connect images to instrument names. "

Description

This musical instruments bingo game is just right for lower elementary level children. There are 16 commonly used classroom musical instruments presented on the bingo cards. These include cymbals, tambourine, sand blocks, triangle, maraca, cluster bells, wrist bells, drum, egg shakers, guiro, rainstick, xylophone, wood block, castanet, chimes, and rhythm sticks. There are 18 black and white bingo cards and an identical 18 color bingo cards. Pictures and words are presented in each of the spaces on the bingo cards so that both readers and pre-readers can have success. There are picture-word cards and cue cards which give a brief description of each musical instrument.

I recommend that two rows be completed before a winner is announced when the bingo game is in play. This will ensure that at least eight musical instruments are called out.
