- Rubrics (for project)
This project is Distance Learning friendly and a great way to keep students engaged while at home. This activity was made and intended to be used on Google Apps such as Google Slides™ and Google Classroom™.
Students can learn about the wondrous world of musical theater. There are 4 lessons in this unit and a final project with the rubric (The final project has been made assuming that students do not have instruments at home. They are to make their own musical! Check out the "Preview" video)
Each lesson includes:
- Learning Goals
- Terminology
- Lesson
- Mini Assignment
Topics covered include:
- History of Musicals
- Famous Musical Composers/Lyricists*
- Popular Musicals*
- Elements of Musicals
- Song Analysis*
- On- and Off- Stage musical jobs*
*These slides are not editable but have blank slides included. If you have any further questions or concerns, please email me at gina@musicpluscoffee.com
*Please note that this lesson/project is intended for junior/intermediate students. Therefore the musicals/composers chosen are age appropriate, in case students decide they would like to watch them.
