These biology homework pages are perfect for helping students to use their understanding of translation to examine different types of mutations and how they affect polypeptide sequences. One page covers base substitutions like nonsense, missense, and silent mutations. The other page covers frameshift mutations. These worksheets are designed to have meaningful, thought-provoking, and creative questions that are respectful of student time.

This was an excellent worksheet on mutations! I even used it as a review in my AP Biology class and it was great practice for them to read and interpret a codon chart and how that relates to various types of mutations.
