This was a fun project for our short week before Thanksgiving break. It was nicely scaffolded for my 1st graders' first research project.
This was simple enough to use in kindergarten and is a great introduction to research.
I used this with a small group of students for a shared research project. I made them each their own copy and they loved it!

These research companions are great. It's a nice way to incorporate informational writing and reading skills into the curriculum.
Using for my friends who have already mastered their sight words during our sight word practice/testing time. Parent volunteers take them to the Media Center to work on it. The kids and parents are loving it!!
