Description
Here is a cute literacy center activity where students use their inferencing skills to infer whats foods Lucy's mom packed for her lunch.
This activity would be perfect for first grade, second grade or struggling third grade students. It would be a fun way to introduce the concept of inferrencing or provide additional practice. It could be used as an independent/partner learning center or activity.
In this center students will read and record three given clues and make an inference to determine what food is being described. There are two different recording sheets included in this download. One sheet requires students to write the clues, their inference, and draw a picture of their inference. The other is a graphic organizer where students record the clues and their inference.
To set up this activity, teachers can simply, print, laminate and cut our the cards, then put them in labeled ziplocs or paper bags, matching the numbered cards to the numbered bags.
