Fill in the blank copy of Guided notes and its key. The notes can be easily printed for students or downloadable for any device.

This lesson is from my NC Math 2 Curriculum (in Unit # 2) but could be also used in Geometry.

This lesson includes the following concepts:

• Defining two-column proofs and steps to writing them such as statments need to be listed on left and reasons need to be listed on right.
• Defining (with simple example) all algebraic properties such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, distributive, substitution, reflexive, symmetric, transitive, simplication, and combining like terms.
• There are two examples where all statments are given and students have to complete all the reasons.
• There is one example where students have to fill out statements and reasons but the proof is setup with enough rows to complete it.
• There are three examples where students have to fill out statements and reasons but students will have to map out how many steps it would take to complete it so can figure out how many rows they need in the proof.

This product will be downloaded as a ZIP file which includes:

• Blank PDF copy which contains 2 pages
• PDF copy of KEY with all blanks and examples filled in (including all detailed work).
