This lesson includes the following concepts:

• Revisiting and reviewing adding and subtracting numerical fractions like from elementary school (around 3rd or 4th grade).
• Revisiting and reviewing how to find Least Common Multiple (or LCM) of rational expressions (monomials, binomial, trinomial) which help to find Least Common Denominator (LCD).
• Adding and subtraction rational expressions in a variety of level/difficulty...it was start of very simple and will progressively get a little harder. Some examples include simplifying the rational expressions at the end of the problem which will tie with what learned in Section 4.3 notes.
• Important Note: There is NO adding, subtracting, and/or simplifying complex fractions on these notes as that is considered an HONORS TOPIC...please check my Honors Package - Guided Notes that contains ANY/ALL differentiated notes.

The HW WS part of this product includes the following:

This HW WS (Assignment) includes the following types of problems:

• The worksheet/assignment has total of 15 problems.
• All the problems on this assignment is practicing adding and subtracting rational expressions where students will have to find a least common denominator (LCD) and perform indicated operation. Some problems you may to factor or simplify towards end of the problem to fully complete it.
