I was keeping track of student math fact progress on a graph. I printed the first two students that completed their math facts and gave them their "Math Driver's License". I could not believe how motivated the rest of students got. I now have over 75% of the class who are fluent on their math facts.

We found the same phenomenon. I ran a Title 1 school with 98 percent low-income demographic. We had that same percentage learn their math facts to mastery because they wanted those DLs. We ran Formative Loop so I could track every kiddo. That helped, of course. But, we celebrated each and every kiddo, and we were a massive school with nearly 1,000 students. They wanted it. GREAT! We pressed kiddos as you are saying y'all do. We placed the DL in a standard plastic laminate, and then in a horizontal plastic holder with a lanyard (School Name). The kiddos worked like the dickens to EARN them. We used Formative Loop so the kiddos WROTE the facts and the program tracked them digitally for us. There is a Direction download (FREE) on this website that tells how to make the DL I am describing above. I am pleased that it worked for your kiddos. Makes my day! Best to you and your students. You put a LOT of work into this CREATIVE incentive!! Thank you! Creative, FUN and the kids will LOVE THIS!!! I am going to let the kids CHOOSE which state they want their license from EACH time they master their facts! They will have the chance of having MULTIPLE licenses from MULTIPLE states. !
