All the name activities you could ever need! There are 8 editable name activities in this download, each with an auto-fill feature. Simply type up to 30 names into page 1 for any one of these 8 files. As you type, all the names will auto-fill into the pages, and customized name activities for all your students will instantly appear on the pages! The 8 name activities are: 1. Pattern Block Names 2. The letters in this download are part of a special font that is embedded into this resource, so you do not need to download any fonts! All the pages have an auto-size to fit option, so your names can be as long as you need.
All the pages also have dashed lines at the bottom where student’s names will also auto-fill! Students will use this to trace their names after they have finished the activity.
As a special bonus, I have doubled all these pages and changed all the titles so you can use them for sight word practice! For example, instead of ‘Pattern Block Names’ the page reads ‘Pattern Block Sight Words.’ Instead of ‘Snap Cube Names’ the title reads ‘Snap Cube Sight Words’ You will still be able to use the same editable, auto-fill feature as you did with the name pages.
You can create an unlimited number of name (and sight word!) worksheets by reusing the file over and over again, year after year! Please note: the snap cube and pattern block letters are NOT to scale. These pages are meant be to be used as a template.
The details for each product are below.
1. Pattern Block Names: Students will create their names using the pattern block images as a template. When finished, students can color in the blocks. NOTE: the pattern blocks are NOT to scale as multiple letters are too big to fit on a standard piece of paper
2. Snap Cube Names: Students will create their names using the snap cube images as a template. When finished, students can color in the cubes. NOTE: the snap cubes are NOT to scale as multiple letters are too big to fit on a standard piece of paper.
3. Play-Dough Names: Students will create their names using the play-dough letters. Students can either lay their play dough ‘snakes’ onto the letters on the page, or use the letters as a guide.
4. Bingo Dauber Names: Students will dab the letters in their name. This activity will work best if students dab directly onto the circles inside the letters. Students can also fill in the circles with cheerios, stickers, or any other small object if you don’t have bingo daubers.
5. Q-Tip Paint Names: Students will use a Q-Tip and paint (tempra or watercolor) to color in the small circles that make up the letters in their name. You can also have students use water color paint brushes or fine tip markers to fill in the circles.
6. Name Coloring Designs: Students will color the designs that are inside the letters of their name. The letters have a variety of designs, including polka dot, wavy, chevron, grid and more!
7. Watercolor Names: Students will first watercolor their name, which is in a bubble font. Students will next paint a picture for each letter in their name. The pictures match the sound that each letter in their name makes. Students can use paint (watercolor or tempra) or any other coloring tool for these pages.
8. Name Filling: Have students fill in the letters of their name with anything you want! Use mini erasers, pipe cleaners, gems, or anything else you have a collection of.
