This simple template is a guide to help second graders write a paragraph that tells a simple story. Some flexibility (with order) can be allowed as long as there is a sequence of events, a sentence relating one of the character‘s thoughts, a sentence relating one of the character‘s feelings, and a supporting detail. Students must also include an opening and closing sentence by completing the prompts in the template. Happy writing!
