Written for the upper-elementary grades, this mini-unit on narrative writing includes tons of things! The lesson is mapped out for three different days of instruction (which could easily be condensed or stretched out to fit your classroom). The lessons introduce narrative writing, allow students to play "sleuth" and make up a character and their own narrative story from a bag of props. GREAT lesson that is collaborative and hands-on!
