As I begin my Narrative Writing unit with my Grade 5s and 6s, I couldn't find an easily organized, grade level appropriate word mat. SO I MADE ONE!!
Includes:
- Character descriptions (hair, clothes, body, movement, etc.)
- Character traits and feelings
- Setting descriptions (sight, sound, smell/taste, feel, etc.)
- & sentence starters to help incorporate more details into writing
