This lesson plan includes the directions and supporting documents for a culminating powerpoint on Native Americans. Our unit was based on the following essential questions:
• What were the similarities and differences among the four major Native American Groups?
• How did Native Americans use their natural resources?
• What influence did the climate have on Native American groups?
• Why did Native American populations dramatically decrease?
After gaining background information on these questions, students use this project to research an assigned group of Native Americans, and then create a guided powerpoint demonstrating what they learned.
