I am so excited about this activity pack! This activity pack includes several engaging activities that are sure to motivate and convince your kiddos that social studies is fun and relevant!
This activity pack takes me 5 days to complete, with a 45 minute social studies segment. The first day is a reading activity with questions, the next two days include exciting and engaging rotations, and then the last two days include a menu project.
Here's a closer look at what all is included:
- reading passage with questions and key
- OR powerpoint with questions and key
- QR codes with more information about Inuits
- 4 rotations: write it, make it, research it, learn it
write it--- inuit writing prompts
make it-- students will make an igloo
learn it-- students will study how Inuits dressed by reading a passage and then designing their own parka
research it-- students will read about Inukshuks and then make their own with rocks and write a story.
