Description

Advent Calendar for Christmas Math!

This bulletin-board sized Advent Calendar has 24 flaps. Students will love opening the flaps each day to reveal a math problem. Three sets of problems are included (one set for Grades 3-4, one set for Grades 5-6, and one set for Grades 7-8). All three sets have math problems-of-the-day based on the Nativity!

Take a look at the preview to see sample questions and assembly details.

You have a choice of three designs (options for color printers as well as black and white on colored paper).

Mix and match questions from each set of questions to perfectly fit what your students are covering, or simply print the set that best fits the grade(s) you teach. Plenty of options are included.

The set even includes Advent Candles with Algebra applications - add them to your bulletin board or make Mathematical Advent Wreaths.

The zip file contains four PDF files:

- Instructions and Decorative Cover Pages

- Questions Grades 3-4

- Questions Grades 5-6

- Questions Grades 7-8

Look at the preview file to see what is included in each.

This was very fun! My students absolutely loved it. I teach in a non-religious private school so I modified the questions a bit so they would not be religious based and just called it a "countdown to winter break" calendar. The kids looked forward to the questions each day. Very engaging! Excellent idea!
