Description

In this project, students will be creating a PPT presentation about what they will learn about natural disasters. This is directly related to the Environmental Science TEK:

Analyze and describe the effects on areas impacted by natural events such as tectonic movement, volcanic events, fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, tsunamis, and population growth.

Students will be asked to describe and analyze different events and the effects of such events as they make the PPT. A basic rubric is included in the assignment, as well as check-ins to ensure students stay on task. This is a fully editable document, so teachers can increase the depth of questions as needed in order for the students to achieve mastery.
