Nature Photo Challenge - Lesson Plan, Rubric, Samples, Printables
Students will use nature as artistic inspiration for a photoshoot that will challenge them to compose and capture images in creative ways. Students are given 4 challenge categories to jumpstart their creativity, as well as a free choice category to balance guided and independent learning.
The challenges are focused on subject matter, technique, and composition.
The following elements are editable:

-Critique Discussion Prompt
-Digital Art Show Template
-Bokeh Effect Tip Sheet
The following elements are JPG images that can be sized up or down, but not edited:
-People's Choice Award Printable
-Challenge Card Printable (Color & B&W)
This is typically a 2-3 day lesson from start to finish when including the digital art show and critique. This could easily be shortened to a 1-day lesson and used as an emergency substitute plan to keep the kids active, engaged, and having fun while learning about photography!
