Encourage creativity with an interactive notebook activity for the Nazca Lines in Peru. Students learn about the Nazca Lines from a reading that examines their location, history, people, purpose, and creation.
With the reading, students answer questions within a drawing of one of the Nazca Lines (the spider!). Much like the Nazca Lines were created by removing rocks, students will create a handout where they "remove" an attached template to reveal the image and the questions with their answers.
An accompanying teacher guide helps prepare and implement the activity and discusses how it has been used in my classroom.
With an answer key provided, all you need to do is print and implement!
