This is a two page booklet type foldable for math journals, covering the basics of negative exponents with lots of practice. The foldable is easy to use as a graphic organizer for a lesson on negative exponents, where the students are learning how to deal with negative exponents in simple expressions and then more complex ones. The foldable also includes two tables to be filled out, so students can see how negative exponents fit into the pattern of exponential relationships.

Hi! First thing you want to do is print it with the "print on short side" and "print double sided" settings. These may have different names depending on your printer. You should then have two pages, printed on both sides. Fold both "hamburger" style so the pages look like book pages. The first page of the PDF is the outside booklet (the empty half is the side that gets glued onto the journal page), and the other page just slips right into it. I have the students staple the booklet together before it gets glued into their journal.
