Nervous System: Action Potential Video
Share

Description

Download a PDF file which has a link to view my video.

Learn about how Action Potentials work in transferring messages through a neuron! We look at ion concentrations within the axon during an action potential, as well as the voltage changes on a graph.

This video is tailored for Alberta's Bio 30 Curriculum.

I am a teacher located in Alberta. While looking for videos to show my own students, I just felt that many were too long or too childish. This led to me considering making my own science videos. I am guessing if I had this frustration then others did as well, and so this channel on YouTube was created!

On my channel, I will upload videos about different science topics in the shortest and simplest way I can. These videos can be a resource for:

• Teachers who just want to show a quick video to solidify a concept,

• Students who need a refresher while studying,

• Or those who just want to relearn science concepts!

I plan to eventually have several topics and levels of science videos available. My videos will follow and be organized following the Alberta Curriculum, but they will be relevant to other provinces and countries as well.

Enjoy!
