Quick lab to introduce some concepts for our Nervous System Unit
This was so engaging! Students loved it It helped explain the nervous system.
There were a few things that didn't quite work for my situation, but it was easy to substitute other activities in their place. I love the idea of using students themselves as the test subjects so they could connect with how their nervous system works and sometimes makes mistakes, where what we perceive isn't exactly what's happening in reality. It was interesting and fun!
My students love any thing hands on and they really enjoyed this lab activity. This resource help students cement their learning in the Nervous System unit.
This was a great way for them to do some hands on work to understand the nervous system. It used basic tools so students were able to complete this on their own at home.
Can’t wait to use this with my middle schoolers. I love how it gets the kids up and moving. They are going to love it! Thank you.
