Description

Notes on Newton's Laws (combined Newton's first law, second law, and third law- you can present them separately or all at once [though I recommend dividing them into 3 or 4 parts). Student notes included. PPT and PPTX format. Easily adaptable to suit your needs.

This is a power point presentation that consists of 53 slides-

they include the basics (what is a force, balanced force, unbalanced force);

Newton's First Law (inertia);

Newton's Second Law (F=MA with some practice problems)

Newton's Third Law (includes 5 Check Your Understanding questions);

The Classic Story of the Horse and the Cart (why don't the forces cancel each other out?)

Students notes are included! Recommended for grades 8

This was so helpful when I moved to distance learning because I used to do much of the work on the white board. Having a power point with these notes was so helpful!

Questions could be more targeted as it is unclear where you are leading the students with the discussion questions.
