Description

This 45 slide presentation provides a thorough overview of all 9 chapters of the novel, Night by Elie Wiesel. It also includes a 4-slide introduction "Before Reading" section to help students build background about the time period and historical context.

The slides include facts, photos, maps, vocabulary terms, and focal points for the chapters.

At the end of the slideshow, I also included some information about Wiesel after liberation and the rest of his life.

This is a great supplemental resource to support students in their understanding of this powerful memoir. It could even be used as a support or study guide for tests, quizzes, or writing assignments regarding the book.

NOTE: This resource uses page numbers from the new translation version of the text (Hill and Wang 2006).
