**Recently we revised the Valentine's Day product to include our recently posted St. Patrick's Day One Step Equation puzzles. **

This is a free sample version of our No Prep Computer Math Puzzles - St. Patrick’s Day One Step Equations . Students must match up the one step equation with its solution to correctly complete a 4 x 4 grid. Inductive reasoning skills must also be used as some values are repeated. The version we included has nine graphics, which is the intermediate difficulty. Our typical St. Patrick's Day puzzles contain three versions, one with 4 graphics, one with 9 graphics, and one with 16 to differentiate amongst ability groups.

In addition, you will also get the printable PDF versions of the puzzle.

The computer puzzle is programmed in Flash, and will either run in your internet browser or other standalone flash plower. ( Currently, it will not run on IPads or Macs as they don't have flash players.)

There are three options to administer the puzzle:

1. Straight Computer Based - For this option you will have to distribute the folder containing the puzzles onto your students computers. THAT IS THE ONLY PREP WORK INVOLVED!!. Two version of the file are included, a swf fil e and exe file. The students will then run the puzzle on their computer and it will do the rest of the work including offering periodic checks and correcting them. A hard copy of the puzzle is included so that you can check the students progress on your own or help them out with specific pieces. The Roman numerals are included so that you can quickly reference the piece they need help on.

2. Computer and Hard Copy Mix - You can print out the puzzle and distribute the 16 pieces to individual students or a group of students. At the same time you can have the puzzle open on your smartboard or computer. The activity can then be done as a group or you can provide hints on your version on the computer.

3. Hard Copy of Puzzle Administration - The file also contains the PDF version of the puzzle. You can still simply cut out the pieces and distribute them to students if you are limited on or don't have access to computers.
