Description

This is a pack of 75 no-prep printables designed to help students work with their knowledge of addition. Students will work with equations up to 20, three addend equations, and decomposing numbers.

Includes the following printables:

*Math facts- 1 page each for plus 1, plus 2, etc. (up to plus 10)

*Mixed addition practice (standard form)

*Picture addition- students count the pictures to create and solve addition equations

*Number line addition- students use the number lines to solve the addition equations

*Ten frame addition- students use the ten frames to create equations that equal 10

*Dot addition- students work on the dice addition problems

*Tally mark addition- students count the tally marks to create and solve addition equations

*Addition sorts- 3 different cut/glue addition sorts

*Spin and add- students spin a paperclip on the paper spinner to create and solve addition equations

*Notebook story problems- story problem flaps with the story problem on the top and space for their work underneath (when glued in a notebook)

*Story problems- story problem pages with space for student work

*3 addend addition- students solve 3 addend equations

*Number line addition- students solve the 3 addend equations with number lines

*3 addend equation sorts- 2 cut/glue sorts for 3 addend equations

*3 addend notebook story problems- story problem flaps with the story problem on the top and space for their work underneath (when glued in a notebook)

*3 addend story problems- story problem pages with space for student work

Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Solve word problems that call for addition of three whole numbers whose sum is less than or equal to 20, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
