Met expectations
Great value
Standards-aligned
This was a powerful and engaging substitute lesson. The nonfiction text captured students’ attention, and the activities supported strong close reading and discussion. I appreciated having everything included—from comprehension and vocabulary to a creative one-pager—making it easy to leave for a sub with confidence.

I mean no disrespect to the person who created this resource, but the article had so many basic grammatical errors (end-of-sentence punctuation and capitalizing the first word in a sentence) that I chose not to use it. I also wish the article was available in a printable form and not a bunch of slides, because most of our subs do not have computer access. I do love the topic and this could be a great resource with some changes.
