For this simple activity, students show what they know about nonfiction text features. Students (or teacher) will first choose a feature to display. The directions are to find and paste or simply draw the chosen feature and write the purpose of the feature in students' own words.

This assignment can be used in multiple ways: classwork, homework, project, or formative assessment. This can be used in grades K-2.
