Want a really cool way for your students to get creative in their writing? First, you have to let their imagination run wild and what better way to do that than letting your students get their hands dirty and creative something they are proud of! This lesson is a for sure way to get your students engaged their writing and excited about it. "Not a Box" by Antoinette Portis is such an amazing way to teach the ideas of the imagination and what it can do for a students writing. Simply read, discuss and creative! That simple and then let your students' do all the work. Trust me, you'll enjoy the process just as much as they do:)
