Notice and Note Signposts for Fiction – Google Slides Lesson Bundle (In-Person + Digital Option) Teach the Notice and Note Signpost Strategies for Fiction with ease using this interactive Google Slides lesson bundle, designed primarily for in-person, whole-class instruction but flexible enough for digital or hybrid learning.

This teacher-friendly slide deck includes clear explanations of all six fiction signposts—Contrasts and Contradictions, Aha Moment, Tough Questions, Words of the Wiser, Again and Again, and Memory Moment—along with linked video examples and linked video descriptions, so students can immediately see each strategy in action.

The slides are structured for 3–4 days of whole-class lessons or can be used as bell-ringers/warm-ups over 6–7 days to reinforce comprehension strategies. This format requires little to no prep, making it easy to project in class and have students interact with the material right away.

Great resource---I love how an explanation video is included along with an example! I used this to review the signposts with my low-level 11th graders. There was a minor typo; however, I was able to go in and change it. Great resource to use at any grade level.
