Novel Study Project Timeline Project
Share

Description

This project encourages students to decide what events, symbols and quotes are significant in the novel they have completed. It is an excellent project to use when students are able to read multiple novels and you would like to have a common assignment. Students create a timeline in any format they would like showing their understanding of the novel as a whole. This project will have them decide what events truly shaped the novel, how characters actions changed the plot and what symbols or items stand out. This is an excellent way to have your students to show what they know!

I do a free choice reading unit each year, and this resource was a great addition to the mini lessons I teach each week to keep the students on track during the unit.
