Hello! I have created for you an interactive learning calendar time, in the packet you will find the following items.

Morning Message slides:

• thematic slides that allow you to type your morning message to students
• under each morning message there is a colorful arrow that you can right click to jump straight to the calendar
• there is a video link for a good morning greeting

Calendar slide

• I have left the calendar blank so that you can continue to use it each year you can type the numbers or if using on a smart board could just write each day
• I have given you movable pieces to practice patterns on the calendar

Month Song slide

• I have included a slide with a song that spells out the month
• I have included a video link about months of the year by Jack Hartman

Whats the weather slide

• I have included a moveable piece of clipart to put over what the weather is outside
• I have included a video link about weather

Today I feel..slide

• I have made a slide where you can talk about how the students are feeling for the day

Months of the year slide

• I have included moveable base ten blocks to show the days in school to put in their proper place on the slide

Number of the day slide

• I have included a few slides to choose from in this category
• The first is just a simple slide where you can put the number in the square
• The second is one where you put the number of the day in the center and the students find the numbers that are one less, one more, ten less and ten more than the number of the day
• The third is showing the number of the day in the piggy bank using movable money
• The forth is showing the number in multiple ways (tally, picture,counting hand,tens frame) using movable clipart pieces

• I have included a slide with a white rectangle where you can add the letter of the week and cover it if you would like to hide from students before seeing it

• I have included a slide with a white rectangle where you can add the word of the day and cover it if you would like to hide from students before seeing it

Secret student slides

• Type a students name in the text box and cover with the rectangle, 
• during work time,hallway,bathroom break,etc keep an eye out to see if the secret student is doing what they are supposed to be doing 
• If the students are having a hard time with doing their work, talking too much, etc. you can say “I am looking to see if our secret student is doing their work!” 
• At the end of the day you can meet at your carpet/desks and announce who the secret student is, you can give them simple prizes if you choose to do so
• IF THE SECRET STUDENT has a BAD/HARD day then DONT share the name and talk about how everyone has off days and we try better the next time
