Number puzzle games are a fun way for kids to practice with numbers. This math puzzle is great for Kindergarten or First Grade kids to practice with place value and have fun! Using these number puzzles 1-120 will help your students build place value, number sense and ability to work with a hundreds chart.

These digital & printable number puzzles are designed to give your students practice with number sense. Students take the pieces of the puzzle and put them together to form a complete hundreds chart. This product has several options that allow for differentiation. Some puzzles have large pieces that incorporate many numbers. Others have smaller pieces that have fewer numbers.

How I Use this Activity

As a Kindergarten teacher, I used these in math centers. Each student could work a puzzle and practice writing numerals. I WISH I had these when I taught First Grade.As a Second Grade teacher, I use them during math interventions for students still struggling with number sense.

Benefits for Teachers & Students

While this resource requires an initial investment of time cutting and laminating, it is one that can be used over and over. Students are happy to work the puzzles over and over again! This gives students practice and saves you time in the long run.

Great extension activity. I love that there are so many designs that students can put together. Students needed to explain why they placed certain colors down in the order they did to share their reasoning.
