Description

Are number combinations and fact fluency a stumbling block for your students? Set your students up for number sense success with this interactive number bond math workbook. Practicing number bonds through interesting and fun math activities supports students’ efforts with composing and decomposing numbers, which in turn supports their understanding of numerical relationships.

This workbook covers the number bonds for digits 5 through 15 with ten unique and engaging activities. Besides math skills, students will also practice reading skills and fine motor skills such as coloring, and cutting and pasting while completing the activities in their workbook.

What other educators have said:

These were fantastic for their predictability, but also variety. They were exploring how to make those numbers in so many ways that I think it really helped get that grasp on the number concepts, not just blindly adding on.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Michelle W.

When I found a free portion of this bundle I crossed my fingers there was something for every number and here it is! Very happy with this purchase!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brandy R.

The workbooks are quick and easy to assemble as the activities always follow the same sequence; simply copy, cut then staple, and a bevy of number bond activities awaits your eager mathematicians.

Each math workbook includes the following Standards based activities:

1. Spatial recognition of number bonds using dominoes - students identify dominoes with number patterns matching the given number.

2. Generating number bonds using an interactive spinner - make a spinner using a paperclip to create number sentences matching the given number.

3. Matching number bonds - draw lines connecting numbers that equal the given number.

4. Number bonds with part part whole models - cut and paste proportional bar models representing number bonds (to support development of number sense).

5. Identifying various ways to make numbers - discern which number sentences equal the given number.

6. Balancing equations - practice algebraic thinking by determining which value makes the number sentence true.

7. Missing Addends - find the missing part to complete the number bond diagram.

8. Ten frame matching - identify which number sentence is represented by the 10 frame.

9. Representing numbers bonds on a number line - create number sentences based on visual models.

10. Number word puzzles - support number word recognition by following the “color code”.

The workbooks can be used in a variety of ways. Use them during morning work, during math centers, Daily 3 math time, supporting RTI, or small group instruction.
