✪ These number formation posters, activities and worksheets are a great way to help children who struggle with number formation and number reversals.
Many of the numbers can cause quite a confusion. Which way round do they go? This can stop a child's train of thought and slow their math down. The activities in this pack will help children to remember the formation of all the numbers from 1-10.
The difference with these number formation posters and worksheets is that they use a memory strategy to correct backwards numbers and confusion using the beginning direction to teach which way round the numbers go. These have been tried and tested and have helped correct number reversals with many children.
✪ There are number formation posters for each number that can be laminated or put into clear file sheets and used over and over with a dry erase marker (whiteboard marker). Smaller cue cards can be laminated for children who struggle and need extra prompting.
✨Now included are two different option for the number 9 - one is similar to the 9 in this sentence and the other has a straight up and down stick.
✪ Each number has a large practice sheet and a smaller practice sheet to further embed the proper formation in their memory.
✪ There is also a visual discrimination sheet that can be timed to increase their processing speed and also to help children to notice the difference between numbers that are correctly and incorrectly written .
