Number ladders are a great way to provide math worksheets in math centers and more that have students apply skills that is not kill and drill. Students can have number ladders that tell them which numbers to add to their current number, or you can use the open-ended one to have students come up with their own rules!

Great for differentiation and having high achieving students challenged!

I have three templates of ladders included

  • Single ladders with a name section. Great for students to do as part of homework or a quick CFA.
  • Single ladders with no name section. I use this template to laminate and have students use in the classroom for centers and early finishers.
  • Open-ended multiple ladders. This is a printable worksheet that has four ladders on it that are open-ended. I also include a no rule ladder that is perfect as an accountability sheet during centers.
