Whether it's a whole-group activity, part of small group instruction, a featured station during centers, a pull-out session, or even with assigned partners, the flexibility of this game allows for diverse implementation and provides opportunities for students to enhance essential team-building skills.
How to Play (Whole Group Style):
Print the cards in color, b&w, or on colored cardstock. Laminate the cards so your classes can use year after year. Tape the cards in various places around the room. Give students a recording sheet, clipboard, and pencil. Send students off to walk around the room and find the cards. When a card is found, students must solve the problem and write their answer on the recording sheet.
Optional: Have students check their work using the answer key. If some answers are incorrect, students can go back and try again!
