Description

Your students will get lots of fun practice with number line addition and subtraction within 15 with this spring math game set! They'll have a great time adding and subtracting by moving up and moving back on the number line.

When your students read a card from the set of 144 clue cards, they follow the two-step directions (go up..., go back...) and use a wipe-off marker to make an X on the number they end up on. The first player to have five Xs in a row on his or her number line wins the game.

For differentiation, two kinds of number lines are included, with "go up" and "go back" arrows for support, and without arrows.

Extend this activity with the easy prep Four-in-a-Row game that's also included in this spring math resource. Great for math center practice!

Assess your students by using the cut-and-glue activity. An answer key is provided.

Increase your students' learning with movement! This set includes large number cards (print two to a page) that are great for a hop-on floor number line.

Game assembly is simple: print on cardstock, cut apart, and laminate for durability. There’s even a label for your storage container! This set will be an ideal addition to your spring math centers or math tubs... but you just might find yourself using it all year!
