This is an activity that can be done hands on or pencil to paper. Students are given four different problems per number line (four different number lines total). Each problem has a set of cards included if you'd like to make it hands on (use some tape on the floor to create a number line or four). Students have a recording sheet (that has the numbers on the card included on each problem if you'd rather use it as an assessment or grade) to hold them accountable for completing the work and allows you to see if they have mastered the concept.
