Description
I have created a number line from 0-200 with numbers in 10 different colors using a repeating pattern. The 5s and 10s are also outlined in the coinciding color. I have added a zero in white however the remaining number follow the color pattern blue, orange, yellow, line, purple, magenta, red, green, light orange, turquoise. I use this with my Every Day Counts Calendar Math curriculum.
Each number is enclosed in a 3" by 3" square. These are most durable when laminated.
They can be used as an interactive number line or for your students to manipulate. Here are just a few ways my students use the numbers:
-to create a 100s chart
-number before and after games
-skip counting
-clothespin the numbers in order (forward and backward)
-"Guess My Number " games
