Description

Do you want to find an engaging and hands-on math task box for your special education students? Are your students struggling to match numbers? If so, this delivering mail number matching task box activity is perfect to add to your math centers. This activity includes numbers 0-20.

Students will need to match the number on the letter to the number on the houses, and help the mail man to deliver his letters. You can print out multiple copies of the letters included if you want your students to work more on their number recognition skills. You can also have your students place the houses into the correct order. This way they'll also be working on their number ordering skills.

You can even remove houses and ask your students which house (number) is missing?

As you can see, this task box activity can be used in a huge variety of ways to work on math skills with your students.

Instructions

  • Print out the letters and houses.
  • Cut out and laminate all of the letters and houses.
  • Set up in your math centers or as an independent work task and watch your students work on their math skills!

These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together. It also comes with a cover for the storage boxes for your reference.
