Students practice putting numbers 0-5 in order while building a picture. Numbers are represented using numbers, tally marks , and ten frames.
Early number sequences (0-3) have a scaffold to help students build their stamina to complete additional puzzles.
Students cut apart strips and then place numbers in order, gluing the completed picture on the top of each page.
This can be done in small groups, independent activity, a quick assessment or as a center.
