These matching cards are great for match centres and math rotations. They can be used as. whole class, small group or independent activity.

Students match the number pattern cards to the rule cards (e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8 is +2 or increasing by 2).

Years 1-3: Pink/green cards (10 pages)

These focus on number patterns increasing and decreasing in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s. Some involve double digit numbers, others involve three digit numbers.

Years 3+ Purple/yellow cards (7 pages)

These focus on number patterns increasing or decreasing in 4s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 11s and 12s.
