Description
Here’s an easy way to incorporate a little more extension or review of number patterns. Each task card starts a number pattern. Students are tasked with completing the next 3 numbers of the pattern and, depending on the level of your students, determining the type of pattern used.
Two Student Response Sheets have been included in order for you to differentiate the activity to meet the needs of your students. One simply has the student complete the next 3 numbers of the pattern, while the other requires the student to complete the next 3 numbers and describe the pattern. This activity can be completed independently or cooperatively.
Includes:
16 Task Cards
Student Response Sheet (2 levels)
Answer Key
Great uses for these cards:
math station
tutoring or extension activity
test review
early-finisher task
Thank you :)
