  • Page 2 – Repeating Patterns: AB & ABB — 10 rows; fill the empty boxes to continue AB and ABB shape patterns.
  • Page 3 – Repeating Patterns: ABC — 6 three-part shape patterns + 4 number/letter patterns; write what comes next.
  • Page 4 – Same Rule, New Clothes — 10 items showing the same pattern in shapes, letters, and numbers; fill blanks so all forms match.

Section 2 – Counting Sequences as Patterns (Pages 5–9)

  • Page 5 – Count Forward by 1s (1–30) — 10 strips; fill missing numbers using the +1 rule.
  • Page 6 – Count All the Way to 120 — 10 strips counting past 100 to 120.
  • Page 7 – Start at ANY Number — 10 strips beginning at various numbers (not just 1), counting on.
  • Page 8 – Counting Detective — 10 strips comparing 0–6 with 100–106 etc., spotting the repeating last-digit pattern.
  • Page 9 – Counting Strips Mix-Up — 10 mixed strips; fill blanks, watching where each begins.

  • Page 10 – Skip Count by 2s — 10 strips adding 2 each jump.

  • Page 16 – Growing Patterns: +1 and +2 — 10 strips (5 for each rule); extend the pattern.
  • Page 17 – Growing Patterns: +10 — 10 strips adding 10; the tens grow, ones stay.
  • Page 18 – Shrinking Patterns: −1 and −2 — 10 strips (5 per rule) counting backward.
  • Page 19 – Shrinking Patterns: −10 — 10 strips subtracting 10.
  • Page 20 – 10 More & 10 Less — A 10-row table; fill in 10 less and 10 more for each number (mental math).
