Description

Number Sense Subitizing Flashcards is an Excellent Way to practice Math Automaticity with your students.

Bonus Bingo Card Set! Excellent Way For Your Students to Practice their Automaticity Skills!

Students need to be able to recognize number patterns quickly in order to understand the concepts of addition and subtraction quickly. By quickly recognizing these patterns they don’t have to count by ones every time they see a pattern.

Using these flashcards in small amounts of time, such as while waiting in lines, helps them to practice and challenges them to keep the skill fresh.

Included in this flashcard set:

►44 blackline pattern cards ready to print. I would suggest printing on heavy paper or cardstock and laminating so that you can use them over the years. Also, if you want to print on color paper that is an option.

►44 small black line cards for students to keep on their desks or to take home for further practice.

►Ideas for how to use the cards.

New!!! BONUS BINGO CARDS: INCLUDES

  • 30 Playing cards
  • Calling cards of numbers in both black and white and color, for 1-10
  • Dot Cards are in random order on all cards for practice for numbers from 1-10

Easel Activity: Number Sense for Numbers 1-5:

Includes Activities for Differentiation:

  • Finding and Matching Dot Cards by Number Patterns, using different
    colors.
  • Finding and Matching Dot Cards by Number Patterns, using only the same
    color on each card.
  • Selecting all dot cards that match the number.
  • Even and Odd Numbers: Sorting the Dot Cards in to Odd and Even Groups.

I am so glad you child loved this. Being able to recognize the numbers quickly is a fundamental skill for number sense. Once it is internalized, addition and subtraction will come naturally. I am so glad you all had fun with it. Hope the learning continues through the years. As her skill increase, it is fun to watch her be able to answer before other friends in games.

I appreciate that you left feedback. I know with students being at home working now, that these will be a great resource to include in an at home packet for parents to help their children to keep their skills sharp.

Thank you for leaving feedback. I hope you get plenty of use out of them. I know I did. I used them all of the time, especially in the hall waiting to use the bathroom, going to specials, waiting for dismissal, playing around the room to give you an idea. My students really got much better with their math facts as the year went on! Have a great year! Mickey
