My students and I thoroughly enjoyed this activity. I appreciate the opportunity to apply mathematical concepts to real-world experiences, allowing my students to effectively utilize what they are learning. It was rewarding to see their faces light up with understanding as they connected theory to practice. This kind of hands-on learning not only reinforces their knowledge but also fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I'm already planning our next project, eager to continue this journey of discovery and exploration with them. It's moments like these that truly highlight the joy of teaching and learning together.

Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.
