Description

This hands-on activity is ideal for young learners who are just beginning to explore numbers 1–5.

Students will:

  • Trace each number
  • Use linking cubes or blocks to build it
  • Draw a visual representation of the number

They can represent numbers in creative ways—circles, stick figures, tally marks, or anything else their imagination (or yours!) inspires.

Perfect for:

  • Math centers
  • Partner work
  • Whole group practice

This activity offers a fun, interactive way to build early number sense. For added durability and repeated use, simply place the pages in plastic sleeves and pair them with dry-erase markers!
