Description

Get your students moving and mastering numbers to 20 — all at once!
These interactive, digital math review slides combine movement brain breaks with core skill practice, so your students stay focused, engaged, and excited to learn.

Instead of simply selecting or saying an answer, students use movement visuals to show their knowledge of counting to 20 — making this a powerful multisensory learning experience that’s fun and effective.

Why Movement-Based Learning Works:

Young learners aren’t built to sit still for long periods — yet classroom demands keep increasing. Research shows that even short bursts of physical activity can significantly improve:

  • Focus and attention
  • Memory and retention
  • Mood and behavior
  • Creativity
  • Overall academic performance

That’s why this resource integrates purposeful movement directly into your math instruction. It’s not just a break — it’s brain-based learning in action.

How It Works:

Each slide presents a math (numbers to 20) question using ten frames and asks students to count and select the correct number.

  • Students are given three answer choices, each paired with a specific movement visual or exercise (e.g., jump, squat, touch toes).
  • Students choose their answer by performing the movement next to their choice.
  • The teacher clicks once more, and a green checkmark appears next to the correct answer — allowing for quick feedback and self-checking!

✨ BONUS: Each movement has a visual icon to demonstrate what to do — making this resource accessible for nonverbal learners and students at all levels.

You’ll instantly be able to see who understands the concept based on the movement they perform, how fast they do them in response to the question, or whether or not they are looking to see what the other students are doing because they may not know the answer.

A perfect way to get students engaged and learning! Also helps with following directions and focus - students have to think about their answer and the movement associated with it.

You can choose how many slides you wish to do at one time and what slides you wish to use, making them great for introduction, practice, and review anytime throughout the year!

What’s Included:

  • ✅ 20 digital slides with ten frame counting questions (numbers 1–20)
  • ✅ 3 movement introduction slides with visuals for each exercise
  • ✅ Built-in self-checking feature
  • ✅ Student-friendly visuals for all movement types
  • ✅ Teacher directions
  • ✅ Formats: Google Slides & PowerPoint

Great For:

  • Whole-group instruction
  • Brain-based learning breaks
  • Review and practice
  • Assessment through observation
  • Centers, morning work, or transitions
  • Virtual and distance learning
