Description

This resource includes both the interactive journal and literacy centers that are inspired by Orton-Gillingham.

OG INTERACTIVE JOURNAL:

Do you use Orton-Gillingham in your class? I did all of the prep work for you and I made it into a fun interactive notebook. This resource includes handwriting, letter dictations, sentence dictations, sight word practice, cheat sheets and interactive templates to practice more challenging skills such as homophones.

This Packet contains:

-Letter Dictations C-Qu: with lines and sentences, there is even a Teacher answer sheet, so you do not have to come up with the sentences nor create worksheets with the lines. There are three different levels so you can differentiated for your class.

-Sight Words: There are packets for both Dolch and Fountas and Pinnell. This includes a visual Teacher Cheat Sheet for teachers to refer to while teaching the lesson.

-Handwriting C-Qu: This contains handwriting practice for each letter and this includes a visual Teacher Cheat Sheet for teachers to refer to while teaching the lesson.

-Interactive notebook for harder skills that are learned in First grade/end of kindergarten and Anchor posters.

-There are cards such as vowel cards, letter D and letter B, reading comprehension cards to help students remember the direction.

These Interactive Journals are great for guided reading, Reading Specialists, ELL teachers and even large group.

OG LITERACY PAPER AND DIGITAL CENTER

Do you use Orton-Gillingham in your class? I created literacy centers that align to what you are teaching.

There are three versions; a black and white paper version, a color version and digital version. The Digital Version uses Google slides.

These books correlate with the order of Orton-Gillingham and these are words that they should have already practiced with you

Digital Version:

-No Prep, Copy into your google drive and go!

-You will need to download google slides

-I included videos for visual directions for each center. You can simply delete the videos if you do not want them by deleting slide AFTER YOU MAKE A COPY.

-Each center has three videos:

-Directions how to do (first video)

-Goes through the words in each center (second video)

-How to “clean up” (on the last slide)

You can use the “word” video in the digital centers to go over the words with your students before they do the center.

There is a response sheet included if you want to extend the activity
