Welcome to Hands-On Creation with the Scientific Method!

Get ready to explore God’s amazing creation through fun, hands-on science! Together we’ll ask big questions, make observations, do experiments, and record our discoveries—just like real scientists! Along the way, we’ll see how every part of creation, from the tiniest atom to the vast ocean deep, points back to our awesome Creator.

Each module comes with a special Bible verse that connects to our science lesson—helping students hide God’s Word in their hearts while learning about His creation.

Module 14: Ocean Movement

As we study ocean movement in Module 14—waves, currents, and the constant motion of the sea—we’re reminded that creation itself reflects something much deeper about God.

The oceans are never still. Even when the surface looks calm, powerful forces are moving beneath. Currents travel thousands of miles, tides rise and fall, and waves respond instantly to forces we cannot see.

Scripture tells us in Psalm 139 that the same is true of God’s presence. Just as there is no place in the ocean untouched by movement, there is no place where God is absent. From the highest heights to the deepest depths, He is present—active, aware, and sovereign.

This truth connects beautifully to the story of Jonah, who learned that even in the depths of the sea, God was still there. The ocean could not hide him, and neither can anything separate us from God’s presence today.

Science shows us movement everywhere.

Scripture reminds us that God is everywhere.

Creation doesn’t just display beauty—it teaches truth.

As we explore ocean movement, may students also reflect on this powerful reminder: We can’t hide from God… and we never need to.
